Brause Realty broke ground October 3, 2023 on a 20-story, 157-unit luxury apartment building in the dynamic Murray Hill neighborhood in Manhattan. Located at 251 East 39th Street, on the NW corner of 2nd Avenue, the development will include 109 market-rate and 48 affordable rental units, approximately 4,600 square feet of retail at grade and over 10,000 square feet of amenities

This distinctive building is designed by architect Cetra Ruddy, and engineers ICOR, AJLP and WSP. Having owned this site for over 60 years, the Brause family has planned this building with the goal of meeting the vast demand for more housing in New York City and expanding on Brause’s commitment to environmental technology by introducing a solar array on the roof, fully electric apartments and a focus on utilizing only Vegan products. The project aims to offer all the high-end amenities, services, and finishes of a state-of-the-art luxury building while maintaining a more personal and exclusive environment than that of competing buildings in the surrounding neighborhood.
